LOCAL-FIRST BROWSER RECOVERY

Undo for your browser.

RevertIt protects the work you type into supported websites and helps you recover drafts and browser workspaces after accidental deletion, reloads, crashes, and restarts.

Your recovery data stays local in this release. RevertIt does not use a RevertIt account server, analytics service, advertising SDK, hosted AI service, or billing backend in the current release candidate.

Recover work before it becomes lost work.

RevertIt creates local recovery checkpoints for text you actually change and gives you several ways to get that work back.

Draft recovery

Automatic checkpoints

Protects eligible changed text fields, including common textarea, rich editor, controlled-input, dynamic-editor, and open Shadow DOM patterns.

Safe Restore

Choose what comes back

Preview recoverable fields and restore only the fields you select instead of blindly replacing an entire page.

Instant Undo

Catch destructive edits

When a large accidental deletion is detected while you are still on the page, RevertIt can offer an immediate undo path.

Recovery Finder

Find old work quickly

Search and filter local recovery history by site, pinned checkpoints, recent work, and named recovery points.

Workspace Guard

Resume your browser workspace

Save local checkpoints of ordinary HTTP/HTTPS tabs and windows and reopen missing tabs after a restart while avoiding obvious duplicates.

Control

Delete, exclude, export

Use per-site exclusions, delete recovery history, clear diagnostics, and export or import your own local RevertIt backup.

Built around local recovery.

RevertIt needs access to supported web pages so it can protect editable fields before something goes wrong. The current release candidate performs that recovery work locally in the browser.

No ad or analytics SDK

The current release candidate does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

Sensitive-field filtering

RevertIt is designed to skip password, payment-card, CVV/CVC, one-time-code, secret-key, recovery-phrase, and similarly labeled fields.

Not an encrypted vault

Browser-local extension storage should not be treated as protection from someone who already has access to your device or browser profile.

Privacy details should be clear, not vague.

Read exactly what RevertIt stores, what it intentionally skips, how workspace checkpoints work, how diagnostics work, and how to delete or export your data in the full privacy policy.
